Looking for opinions, buying drop in 40-9mm barrel for Glock or cheap 1911?

So I just want another caliber to shoot. I could either go with getting a LoneWolf 40-9mm conversion barrel or get a Norc 1911 in .45 for around the same price. So essentially do you think it's better to get a 9mm conversion that fires with a solid platform or buy another whole pistol of not such "great" quality? I might not have explained that well but I hope you guys get my drift.
 
I have a wolf barrel for my Glock 22. Works great. Can use the .40 mags no problem. I have never had any malfunctions with either in my gun

Well, it's probably gonna be a long wait for the Lonewolf barrels to come in so might as well buy a cheap 1911 while you wait for the barrel. :)
