looking for opinions on a brake

hello gun nutz i am shooting a Tikka T3 Hunter in 7mm rm. i recently starting doing more target shooting while there is nothing to hunt.

after a day of shooting around 20 rounds from prone the rifle kicked the crap out of my shoulder. i am concidering getting a brake installed. my local gun shop (accuracy plus in Peterborough Ontario) suggested a KDF contoured brake and it is going to run me $350 plus tax to have my rifle threaded and brake installed.

I am open to others opinions and recommendations

Seams high
I pay about $100 or a bit more for the brake. $100 to install
$40 for thread protector for hunting
Most expensive was a vias it was $175 for the brake
Rest was the same
