looking for opinions on best shotguns for hunting/ skeet and all around performance

new to the sport. trying to get knowledged opinions on which shotgun i should purchase for my first gun. I am looking for a gun that is an overall good performing and upholding shotgun, which i can use for a variety of activities such as, hunting and skeet shooting. open to all reccomendations. thanks.
 
Check out the Winchester SXP field and stream combo. All kinds of awesome with two barrels, and three chokes. All you need to get going. Super fast and smooth, unbeatable price.
 
I suggest a Mossberg 500 with a two barrel package. The 500 is one of the most proven, reliable shotguns on the market (along with the Remington 870) and is reasonably priced. There are also tons of accessories and parts available. An 18" barrel is good for general use and the longer barrel can be used for hunting and skeet. You could pick up the combo for around $300.
