I hope I can grab a little knowledge from all you long term distance shooters out here! Please and Thanks in advance for any and all information you feel might be relevant!


I am looking to get involved in long distance shooting more seriously and possibly into F-Class in the future! (After some significant time at the range and learning from whoever will fill my brain!)

I picked up a new Remington 700 5R in 300WM as a base rifle to work on, and am debating an AICS 2.0 Stock to fit her into!


NOW to the actual question. Has anyone used or do you currently own a Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 EBR-2 MRAD? Pros? Cons?

I have the exact rig you are planning to build although my scope is in MOA. My thoughts on the scope are that I find the reticle can be a tad thick at 20 power when looking out to distant targets. Other than that its an outstanding scope and built like a tank! Check pout the reviews online, especially on you tube.The 5R WM on the AICS, well it shoots as amazing as it looks. One change I would suggest s to swap out the XMark trigger to something after market, I went Timney, but that's just a personal choice.
