Looking for Optic uses for my AR Scope - Suggestions?

Now that my AR is banned, I have a Vortex Strike Eagle scope with a Primary Arms 30mm cantilever mount laying around, which I never got to mount or use
I am fairly new to optics, as I've been using irons on my rifles since I got into shooting. May sound like a dumb question, but any other similar rifles I can mount this scope to? I was looking at a bolt action replacement for my AR, either in the Ruger American Ranch or Savage Scout in .223. Would the rifle need a picatinny rail system in order to mount the strike eagle?

I mounted my leupold ar 1-4 on my wife's BLR. just used regular rings. It works fine.

I tried my fixed 3 power AR scope on my 1895.. worked okay but the adjustable turrets looked really goofy..
