Where in Quebec? Southwest means you go to Higginson's powders in Hawkesbury. Also, check Lespac.com for reloading stuff. As for what you will need, do a search in this forum - asked and answered many times. Bonne chance!

Well if you want accuracy, you should start with a single stage press and weigh each powder charge.
If you want volume, you should get a progressive press, so you can crank out big numbers.
I myself use a Lee Classic single stage Kit I bought for all my rifle ammo reloading. It’s slow but you can tune the loads for accuracy. I worked up a load for my 270 that puts all 5 rounds in a business card at 100 yards out of a browning bar Safari, leaning on my trucks hood.
Happy reloading!

If you run across a RCBS Rockchucker kit, buy it, it is top quality, buy a few diff. reloading manuals first and study them, we will quizz you in a few weeks.....
Boney chance!

Start with a copy of The ABC's of Reloading. English only as far as I know.
Then go to your local gun shop and look into an RCBS Beginner's Kit(runs about $500). Gives you everything you need less dies and shell holder. RBCS will fix any problems you have with a phone call. Even if you buy used(not a bad thing, but it'll take longer and cost more) or you caused the problem. The only question will be for your mailing address.
You'll need a set of dies for each cartridge, but your .270. 30-06 and .308 will use the same shell holder(RCBS #3). You'll need a separate one(an RCBS #4) for the .300 Mag. Not expensive.
"...that puts all 5 rounds in a business card..." More load developement will let you put all 5 into the heart of the Ace of Hearts at 100 leaning over your wobbly truck hood.

First thing I would by is the Lyman Reloading Handbook; I started with that and it is one of the best manuals out there. I would buy that and read the step by step instructions on reloading before buying anything else.

After you buy that and read it, I would get the RCBS Rockchucker Supreme Master Reloading kit (I think this is waht sunray is talking about); Le Baron sells it for $354.63. I have a third hand Rockchucker press and I think it will be used by my kids and grandkids too if i ever have any.
