I'm looking for advice to put a scope on an old Cooey 600. It was my father's, but I've never fired it. I'm looking at getting it ready, as I have some friends coming over in the next couple of months, and if the weather works out, I would like to take them out to try a new sport. I don't want to break the bank, but I would also like something that doesn't fall apart too easily. I don't know how much it will get used other than for visitors, but I would like it to be reasonablefor them, and possibly for me if I have fun with it. Any advice would be helpful. Brand names and models would be useful, since I have no idea what works best on a rimfire. :)

The Nikon scope would be great. What does it have for mounting?

But for fun I would just get a cheap 50 buck scope to start if you are not sure how much you will use it. The EE has lots of fun scopes at good prices

It has the grooves up top for weaver type rings.

I would go with a Bushnell they have some reasonable priced scopes and are generally available plus in the past have had good warranty support for the money

I'd sure gift Simmons some thawt as for a wee recoil shooter, they offer up
some decent clarity for wee $$.

Or spend bigg'un $$ and buy ah once in a lifetime Leupold rimfire scope.
Will last ahh cootnzs age.
