Looking for some 12g dummy rounds in Vancouver or Lower Mainland... help

Thanks BTW...I went to DS tactical the other day, nice store lots of cool stuff, bit pricy... they only have 5 rounds of 12g dummy rounds but I bought them

Wish they had a better price on a Hogue stock for my Mossberg 500

I went to international shooting supplies and bought a pack of 2 12g dummy rounds there, they are snap caps and really awesome. Reliable is good too, as Tadosan suggested

I went there too but 12 bucks for two snaps seemed expensive and from the reviews I saw they are ok for dry firing but they get pretty damaged if they're cycled a lot. The ones I bought at DS were about a buck each and same brass as a shot gun shell, wish they had more though. The guy said they sell fast and couldn't tell me when more were coming.

Make your own. Get some used shells, fill with pennies and glue them in with a hot glue gun. If you do them yourself you can compare the weight. Make sure to paint them nice pretty colors so you don't mix them with live shells.

Yeah cool idea, I saw someone who did that and used a glue gun to seal it all in. I just didn't have any used shells handy since this is my first 12g... but I'll be saving them when I go shooting this week :D

They work fine for reloading drills but I do not use them like snap caps. I don't dry fire into them. Here's an imgur gallery on creating hot glue slugs. Use same method, just substitute live ones for used ones and pennies for shot.
