Hi Guys,

I'm looking to get a few parts for my AR, but having trouble finding some..
Ideally I'd like to get them all from one place.

- magpul afg2 fore grip
- pmags
- mag well fore grip
- it would be nice if they also sell the vortex strikefire, but this is easy to find

Thanks!

Wolverine is second to none.

But their website doesn't show real time inventory like Questar's.

True. However, what difference does that make if they have the stuff you're looking for? It just boils down to where you'd like to spend your money.

Since you're in the GTA take a ride up to Target Sports.
They have everything you listed and you can acutually inspect the goods before buying.
The Q and Wolverine are also good sources as mentioned....

Questar makes me fustrated, I will load my cart up with a complete ar built from scratch only to realize 90% of the stuff is pre order and will take 6-12 weeks to arrive. I dont understand how you can run a business when you carry no stock and expect people to wait for the majority of your websites products.

You mean you don't see the Stock: Accepting Advance Orders beside the picture?

It's no different anywhere else... no store stocks everything.

If I had a dollar for everytime Farmboy posted "we sell that" and I go to One Shot to buy it and there is zero in stock I wouldn't have to work!

No Canadian dealer stocks everything... mostly due to no fault of their own.

Ace Tactical in Thorsby AB. Check out his Facebook page, the website is under construction. I have bought lots off him, and he has pretty good prices.

Hmm that's strange, my local shop that's by and large a hunting shop has a better selection of ar parts and optics then questar and they always have stock. Then give Alberta tactical a call and they have even more stuff in stock. As for one shot...at least they have a decent selection I in stock items.

At any given time we have nearly 1 million dollars worth of inventory (in-stock here in Canada) so not sure how you can say we "carry no stock and expect people to wait for the majority of your websites products".

We also offer many items which we DO NOT STOCK but instead offer them as custom order items (simply not enough volume/interest to stock those items).

Lasty, we constantly sell the inventory we have, so items that are in-stock today can be out of stock tomorrow and back in-stock in a few weeks. That's how it is ;)

I've said it before and I'll say it again... we try hard to please as many people as we can but we simply can't please everyone all the time.

Member Blaxsun usually has lots of magpul gear on hand and discounts certain items for CGN members. I have done lots of business with blaxsun and have yet to have problems with this member. Well worth giving him a chance,He is a solid guy to work with!

At least its clear before you add items to your cart....some places send you an email after you place your order telling you its out of stock or will take several weeks.

That's why I say "We sell that" or "We carry that" rather than "We stock that" :p :D :D

I would love to stock everything but it's quite a challenge. I'm sure I could do better though.

Here are a few problems we face:

Our main client is government(s)(good problem though). The $30,000 I'd like to spend on the latest gear to stock the store with for individual sales, just went to purchase a whole ton of Vickers slings. By the time I get paid for that, there's already another 5-10 PO's for more or something else.

Limited US production. Sounds strange in this economy, but when you consider that Daniel Defense basically just doubled in size to try and keep up with orders..........

ITAR/paperwork/shipping/customs/registration. It all adds to the time delay for getting product in. Usually by the time it's in, it's already all sold.

These hurdles suck a$$, but I'm working on it.

I've bought both from Questar and Wolverine. Great experience from both. Showing stock on hand is a big bonus. That being said, if both stores have the same item, I'll order from Wolverine for the simple fact that they are closer to me (MB to SK) and most of my orders arrive the next day. One virtue, of many, I don't have is new toy patience.
