Looking for some silver 1911 grips for my gsg

I was thinking the over the top engraved ones. I know waiting for the ridicule but thought they would be cool. I prefer the Mexican ones as the silver costs a little less. Anyone know where someone might procure those? Thx.

just got back from cuba....... small souvenir shop had what i thought were silver... gold/brass medallion inlay... 1911 grips spanish proof marks . couldn't confirm the actual ussage and the price was far above speculation, the thought was there . sorry no pics ether ... yes this would be one of a kind

Yes I agree with they are very "out there" but that's the point. Just like I drive a vw thing because it's ugly but intriquing and not many around.

They might look better on the ruger
 
I guess I am still on the hunt for pewter grips. Brownells says they can't ship those up here as the grip maker is not registered to import across the border. Anyone have a used set? Thx.

Got those in Mexico, silver and gold. That's probably not what you're looking for but just wanted to show you....they make them for SA, Da, and 1911s.
