Looking for sources of C8 Info

Finally scratching the itch to do a C8 build. While I'm a member of the AR15 and M4 forums, I recently signed up in order to learn more about both the C7 and C8 models.

Starting off with a complete NOS Diemaco upper (including BCG) taken off a Colt 6920 and going from there. I would like to use as much Canadian content as possible, but, that's going to be a tall order to fill...tough to find parts in the States.

I need to dig into the posts here (as well as on the AR and M4 forums), but, I figured I'd first check to see what published material is available (print or web), besides The Black Rifle 2.

I'm new to Colt/Diemaco builds. I found a good guide on this site: https://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=149125. It's mostly c7 info but they cover the c8 and the accessories they used. Ar15 and m4 forums are good sources for info too. I've read on there that Diemaco parts are hard to come by in the US.

If you're in the states, you probably wont be able to get a hold of a Diemaco/CC barrel and definitely not a lower receiver. Depending on what version of the C8 you're going for, I'd say grab a BCM SFW upper and swap out your receiver. You guys have the luxury of engraved 80% lowers there so you can easily make a c8 marked one.
