Good day all, I am looking for some direction as to finding Cowboy action gear, holsters and belt for 38/357 6 shooters! in use with 5-1/2 " barrel guns! Anyone out there with ideas or looking to sell?

Check out Mernickle Leather and Kirkpatrick Leather. Both companys produce top quality leather goods for Cowboy Action, in a variety of styles and configurations. Right here in Canada, you may also peruse Working Cowboy (Chatham, Ontario), or LaRoche Leathers (Quebec). Some advice: If you're serious about getting into Cowboy Action, don't cheap out on your leather. Buy the best you can afford. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run.

Kirkpatrick & Black Hills Leather produce excellent products also. If you are going to buy leather make sure that it is applicable to the CAS category that you are going to be shooting in. Buying the same thing twice, cause you didn't research it, is just plain silly.

I ordered a Longhunter setup from Kirkpatrick and I am very pleased with both the quality of the gear and their customer service. When mine arrived they were a snug fit for my pistols and I was concerned. I wrote to Kirkpatrick and the next day I was surprised to receive a phone call from Jason Kirkpatrick in response. He was excellent on the phone and had me do some checks on my holsters then walked my through a way to stretch them a bit and also mailed me some leather slick lube for free. He was extremely nice and assured me they would replace my holsters if needed, but if I was willing to work with the fix it should do the trick in a few days of stretching. It did work and my rig is fantastic now. I would highly recommend Kirkpatrick as their products quality is great and they will back it up 100% with great customer service. Jason also send me some extra hardware for free and a very nice handwritten note, thanking me for my patience. Their rigs are pricey, but reviews are great for longevity so I looked at it as an investment - buy once, cry once. LOL

Second Hand. used holsters get 25 percent of new, yes I know most ask 80 percent but few buy.
Almost need to test fit used or most likely it will be a poor make do.
