Hey everyone, long time lurker but have never posted so forgive me if this is in the wrong place!
I recently bought a Tikka T3X and a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40 and am looking for some suggestions on how to mount it.
Originally I was thinking of getting something like the DNZ Game Reaper mount, but then I had the bright idea of going with a rail and a QD mount so that I could take the Accupoint off the Tikka and play around with it on some of my other rifles... But after talking to a friend of mine he said I might have some issues as the mounting height isn't going to be the same if I'm switching it from rifle to rifle (Tikka to AR15, etc).
Has anyone had any experience doing this? Or something similar?
I am also open to getting an adjustable cheek rest for the Tikka if that would help (maybe something like the Kalixteknik CR1? It looks pretty nice), just not sure if I need it.
