Can anyone tell me the load range for Swift 165gr A-Frames in 30-06 with H4350?

Lapua brass if it matters.

Thanks.

Swift reloading manual #2
30-06
165 A-Frame
H4350
Starting 54.4 for 2627
Max 58.5 for 2880 and 95% capacity using Federal cases and Federal 210 primer with a 24" Wiseman barrel, 1-10 twist

Oh, not concerned at all Dave. I don't mind my loads a little crunchy!

Just commenting that the posted load data shows that charge to be 95% capacity. My experience and other manuals with similar bullets (I'm thinking Nosler Partition) suggest a compressed load.

I've never browsed a Swift manual, so have no other basis for comparison.

Seeing as the A-frame is a partitioned cup and core bullet you can use anyone's data for 165 gnrs in 30-06. They are no harder or easier to drive down the barrel than any other cup and core bullet. I have never felt the necessity to use a specific manufacturers data with their bullets

I assumed they'd behave like a Nosler Partition, but it was just too easy to ask.

57.5 showed no signs of high pressure, and wasn't compressed, as I'm loading just 30 thou off the lands. I may explore 58 to 58.5, as the 57.5 shot nicely under an inch at 100m.
