Hey Everyone,

looking for a Tavor and just wondering if anyone knows who has them? How are they compared to other AR rifles like the Colt LE6920?? Lastly what is the difference between the IWI and Tavor?

Thanks T

Looks like several site sponsors have them in stock or there is the EE.

It is a Bullpup design. Some like the fit of a Bullpup, others prefer the AR design. You need to try both to see what works for you.

Lastly what is the difference between the IWI and Tavor?

IWI is the manufacturer. Tavor / TAR-21 is the name of the product.

Thanks if you where to buy one would you get the TAR-21 or X95? Who is seeking the X95??

Thanks T

X95 is the latest variant of the Tavor. It has a few minor changes. You'll probably be able to get a TAR-21 cheaper once the X95s come out.
I'll be buying an X95. Already have the TAR-21.

What about accuracy I see a lot of concerns, how does it compare to the Colt or other AR's?

Tavors are good for around 2.5 MOA at 100 meters if the shooter does his part. With a trigger bow and a new trigger pack installed it could probaly be brought down a tiny bit.

The X95 is the new variant of the IWI original Tavor. Aparently its accuracy is not as good as a Tavor and it might suffer from shot stringing.

AR's on the other hand can get better accuracy than a Tavor if it is a decent AR like a Colt, the shooter does his part and a hand load is developed for the AR. AR15's also had a 30 year head start on the Tavor to get better accuracy.

However choosing a semi auto rifle originally designed for war based on accuracy is kinda pointless. They were both originally designed to put rounds into a center of mass at a distance and both of them are up to that task.

If your worried about accuracy that much, buy a bolt action rifle.
