Anyone shoots a Remington 700 police in 300 win mag? What are you feeding it? Reloads preferred along with recipe please.

So far, I've tried a lot of factory ammo all with disastrous results. I've tried an array of factory ammo from 150gr to 180gr and could only achieve 2" + at 150 meters... it is unacceptable and this rifle is capable of much better...

The one I've tried and still have to find the sweet spot is Berger VLD hunting 210 gr on top of H-1000. 77.2 gr I believe but not sure.... I had it on my target but I can't seem to find it anymore... the cleanup fairy took it away!

The rifle is bedded. Pic rail torqued properly and same goes for the cross bolts on the rings along with the top of the rings. Action screws torqued appropriately as well. It has a brake and the projectile does not hit it. It also has a limbsaver recoil pad so I'm not bothered by the recoil. Scope is not at fault as I've tried a few different ones. The barrel was scoped by a smith and it's good to go!

There's nothing wrong with the rifle or the shooter!

Rifle: Remington 700 police
Barrel: 26" 1:10 rh
It is mag fed so I am a little restricted in length.... 3.632"

Whoever gives me the magic recipe will be rewarded with a thank you!

Picture for attention!

208gr ELD Match with around 72gr of 4831SC myself and 2 shooting partners are using this mine is a 300 wm in weatherby another is 300wm in Remington Sendero and the third is a custom rig in 300 wm loads vary from 72.0 to 72.2 gr 4831SC we found better results than H1000 and the ELD match is not particularly fussy on seating depths which is preferable to other more picky projectiles and they are extremely consistent. Good Luck
PM results if you like

My 700 police doesn't have much that isn't changed except the serial
number. The load in mine is 81 grains of
H1000, the 190 LR Accubonds and 215Ms seated in Norma cases. The COL puts the bullets .015" into the lands. Works
to 3.540"on that rifle, and 3.570" on another. Jumping the LRs hasn't worked for
me in these rifles or any other barrel I've tried them in. Nosler claims
different so you never know.

I hate to be pessimistic, but not all rifles shoot. There's a reason why everything but the serial number got changed on mine. Dud barrel right off the bat, we sectioned it with a power hacksaw after pulling it off. There was a circular gouge all the way around just after the rifling started. In that gouge there was barely any rifling for about 3/16".
