Looking for the source of WC860 or WC872 in Canada

WC 860 is a U.S. military surplus .50 BMG powder. WC872 was used in 20mm vulcan cannons. You're highly unlikely to find surplus powders in Canada.

I believe so; however shipping it may be another challenge altogether.

And, if it's actually *LABELED* 'for the BMG' or references '50 cal' anywhere, then you're fooked.

Plus, you may be able to find US869, H870, H50BMG or H5010 already in Canada. Try he who shall not be named (AB Tac. Rifle in Calgary)

Oh, and AFAIK, the only surplus available in Canada is currently the WC735 sold by Higginsons. It's about the same as H322, or 5% faster than H-335/WW-748

Ammomart, now Higginson Powders, in Hawkesbury ON, used to sell WC860. I still have a bit left. Mind you, this is many years ago. This surplus powder is no longer available in Canada as far as I know for a long, long time. I have never seen WC872 for sale here in Canada. These powders come up for sale from time to time in the US though. Go here for more info: http://www.hi-techammo.com/

Just received an email from the State Dept.
Smokeless powder is a controlled item, the export permit can only be given to an entity, registered with the Defense Trade Control. Paranoid Yankees!
