Ok gents

Im looking for a Volquartsen supplier to get the following:

10/22 Volquartsen Buffer
10/22 Auto Bolt Release
10/22 hammer

Sylvester Sporting Goods does carry it all but I cant they are out of stock of teh bolt release/hammer pack ($62) yet carry teh bolt release ($17.50) and Hammer pack ($61). Math does not make sense here.

I could file the bolt release but would prefer to keep my oem parts.

anyone else carry these.

one of the places in Edmonton use to carry VQ i just cant remember if it was Milarm or P&D but i got my VQ stuff from them couple years back.

im 99.9% sure it was Milarm.
what they didnt have in stock they would order in.
i remember that because i picked up a bunch of stuff and they had it in stock and my dad wanted the same stuff for his 10/22 so he went in there and they where out so they ordered in the stuff he wanted.

Yes, you are correct, it was Milarm, but Milarm is no more.
Cheers

is it problematic to get the parts from the US?

Not through Brownells. Their Export Department will explain it all to you - keep your order under $500

Kidd stuff is equal in quality to VQ and can be purchased at Dlask Arms. They also have $5 bolt buffers.

I know it's pricey, but installing a Kidd Single stage trigger pack was absolutely worth it in my 10/22. It's so much nicer than the factory trigger pack (not plastic like the new ones) and it Includes the Auto bolt-release. It costs as much as a new gun, but in reality, it makes the 10/22 a totally new gun.
