Regret not buying 12+ years ago. I come back from being dormant only to find out cannot buy anywhere or anyone has one to let go privately. Was discontinued years ago. Model #CALX22045BSS

Shot in the dark, but I'll try and ask. I want my P220 to really shoot 45acp. Not just 22lr. It ain't right. Lol

I don't know forsure. I'll have to check but this P220 in 22lr was specifically designed to accept the x changer 45acp kit. I forgot the model number of the kit and I can find the exact p220 I'm referring to. I'll try pull the info tonight.

SIG P Series pistol frames are aluminum w/ except to the SSE & S Match models & X5/X6 Master Shop.

OP,
Your P220 22LR frame will accept a Cal X Change kit in 45ACP...but NOT 10mm Auto.
A SIG P227 top end assy will fit your P220 also.

Check Flea Bay on a regular basis...a kit may come up...eventually.

Would be a better bet to buy a used P220 in 45 , I sold a 2 tone one a while back, they come up in the EE quite often
Run a WTB ad.

Yes, I'm aware of my limited options which is really just one. This is the x change kit I need: Model #CALX22045BSS to make my P220 22lr Classic shoot 45acp.

Anyhow, during my searching of bucket list items and what the heck just buy it... I came across a used super minty looking P220 Match Elite 45ACP. It looked nice in SS colour, I decided to buy it. But I will keep looking for this elusive x change kit. The searches I have done last week yielded me no results. One of these days, it will turn up. Who knows when.
