Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a 9.75mm internal thread to external 1/2-28 thread adapter for MK22 these are the same ones used for installing suppressors on the GSG522...
I know of one company that makes these called SwarfWorks but they will not ship to Canada.

Any ideas or resources where I can find one??? They look like this super simple design.. any help appreciated I'm trying to build a tacticool MK22 adding a fake suppressor.

I would suggest printing off a picture and taking it to a machine shop. I did that to make an insert to fit the supplied plastic flash hider for my Marauder kit. I epoxied the insert into the flash hider and it screws on to my threaded 10/22 barrel. Cost me $15.00. TC

Kentucky gun co makes them too, I know of at least one from them that has shipped to canada ( I do not have one ) Things in the US have changed since then though.

Let us know how it goes. I do want one, just havent got around to ordering.

The one you have a picture of is not the right one. You are going to need external threads on both sides,

Let me know what they say, But the flash hider threads into the barrel shroud on mine, The inside of the barrel shroud is threaded 14-1. That means you would need external threads, to thread into the barrel shroud, and external threads for the fake can to thread onto.

I sent them an email but will give them a call either tomorrow or Friday...crossing my fingers as it seems like the easiest way to fake can this rifle. I will post what they confirm with me for everyone.

Just think how much $$ someone could make if they had machining tools to make things like this...so simple to make Canadian suppliers should capitalize on accessories for firearms im sure they would have a market.

I believe you are looking for the same thread adapter as we use on the GSG 1911 that converts the factory threading to 1/2X28. We have them in stock and available, off the top of my head I believe they are around $20.00.

Your totally right Willisworms..the GSG1911 adapter is totally the wrong one...hmmm ugh why is this so difficult :) Here is a quick pic I took with my Iphone showing the can slipped over the barrel to show how it will look when I find the adapter.

THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!! I CAN SEE a BROMANCE FORMING HERE LOL it wouldn't matter if it were bright pink, it will be covered up by the can.

Cheers Willis!

It must be valentines day.
I will see what I can make happen. I don't think I will be able to go any where near guns tonight.
I will take a closer look at this project Tommorow after work.
