looking ofr a Mini-14

well I am going to do it, I am looking for a Mini-14. I am wondering wood or synthetic , 7.62 x 39? or 5.56 ? nay recommendations? also what is the average cost of a good used one? a new one?

Mine was .223 and wood. A little more accurate than they are given credit for. the mini 14 has the advantage of easier to find mags and parts as they are a little more common than the mini 30

quality 5/30 mags for the mini-30 are impossible to find. factory mags for the mini-14 are also hard to find but easier

i'd get .223 any day of the week
