Looking to buy a Valmet Hunter in 223...help!

Hey guys,

Just a quick one tonight,

I was wondering how much i will be paying for a Valmet Hunter in 223? I would like one in good condition..are these things accurate?

A lot more than they are actually worth. I can imagine if AKs were non restricted, there would be a VERY small market for these... Although from what I've heard, they are very well built. I don't think I've ever seen one go for under $2k.

Calgary Shooting Center has a non restricted Valmet in 5.56 but they want like $5,000.00 or something crazy like that. I didn't check the barrel but the outside looked kinda rough. It's a neat gun and all but if I had that kinda money hanging around I would buy something else first. Personally I plan to wait til the short barreled 858's come out and grab one of them since they should be around $800

I don't think you will find one for under $3000. Better off with a Famae 540 $2600, XCR I dunno the price these days, but not a Nork NSR97....junk.
