Looking to start IPSC so I need recommendations on a good 92FS holster

It'd be best if you were to read the rulebook(s) first - now - before you buy anything.

Then, I'd start by looking at a Blade-Tech 'Classic OWB', a Red Hill Tactical 'Competition', and a J M Custom 'R/C OWB'.

I ran a Beretta 92 Bladetech DOH holster when I started IPSC shooting my Girsan Regard MC.

Didn't really like the Bladetech DOH attachment, pointed the gun at my leg almost. but the holster itself was nice. Check out the Ben Stoeger BOSS Hanger and you can select a Bladetech Holster with it.

I currently have a Red Hill Tactical holster with the Ben Stoeger BOSS hanger.

The BOSS is a nice hanger.

OP: I have a Bladetech and ran into a similar problem as NickVR above did, with the gun pointed at my leg. The issue here for IPSC is also the requirement to keep the grips 2" max from your body, which mine was borderline. A solution is to remove the DOH piece, and heat the middle part with a heat gun, then bend it a bit straighter. I've done this to a couple holsters and it works well to move the grip of the gun closer to your body, and the muzzle away from your leg.
