Had to find a replacement for the Savage Fox B I sold this spring (found it way too heavy to lug around for grouse anyway) and then this little beauty popped up on Accuracy Plus's website.

First Miroku I've owned, and I'm very pleased with it. Tight little gun that points naturally. Fit and finish are better than I was expecting. Tasteful engraving, nice wood - don't think I could find much better for $500. :)

One question though: there are 2 small pieces of wood between the barrels, that seem the snugly fit the inside of the forestock. Is that all they're for - to better fit the forestock to the barrels?

Nice find!
I really like the vintage Japanese O/U guns since I picked-up my SKB. They are some of the best fitted that I've handled and because they don't start with a "B" they aren't hard on the pocket.
I believe the Miroku's are mechanically the same as a Citori so it should have years of service ahead of it and great parts availability.
Cheers,
Grant

I think it was just listed as "good", but I talked to them on the phone about it, and it sounded better than "good", so I snagged it. :D
