Not sure of what your definition of "up here" is as the item in question is located in Weyburn Saskatchewan (Canada). Besides current bid is just $400, not a bad price.
Would be lotsa fun trying my hand at a Texas star but dunno if the Ontario CFO would allow it.
I don't get it. So many want to shoot steel like our neighbours down south but CFO rules (at least ON) needs all steel targets to be either in a bunker or shrouded to prevent ricochet/spatter. I get it as I'm all for safety. What I don't get is why isn't anyone selling non-jacketed frangible bullets for reloading up here? I don't think frangibles are illegal in Canada because you can buy Barnes Varmint Grenade pills among other retail ammo but they're all jacketed. I beleive there's one Canadian manufacturer but they don't sell within Canada. Go figure.
Would have to double check but here in Saskatchewan minimum distance is 10 meters for steel targets. 7 meters if using all lead non jacketed ammo like we do in cowboy action. Also no shrouds or bunkers unless indoors.
