Looks like a good start into the black&green club

WOW, the prices are steep on your side of the border. Your southern neighbors can buy the same parts kit for less than $450 USD.

I just assembled one similar, even w/ the lower, tribute to .gov and a few extras for less than $900

Here's a pic of mine

That's not surprising... we pay three times what you guys pay for AR-Magazines :(

<sigh>

At least we are still able to play with these though :)

BTW Nice rifle !

Do you have to jump through as many hoops to put a short barrel on a rifle as we do?

Sorry to hear about the price differences.

Nah, if you can own a handgun in Canada, you can own an AR, short barreled or full lenght. On any semi-automatic centrefire rifle, you must have a barrel longer than 18.5" to keep it unrestricted. Between 18.5" and 4.25", it's a restricted rifle, and the conditions that applies to handgun applies to them.

Looks like I got the last one!! :p

I am so stoopid! Oh well, it's only money... I don't really need to eat for the rest of the summer, do I?? :D

I guess that helps me make my mind up on buying one or not :cool:

AP

Hold the phone!

Mark is still showing one package availiable! Maybe you should give him a call and see if there is still one left.. when I talked to him, he gave me the impression that my kit was the last one that wasn't spoken for, so maybe I was wrong, or maybe something changed.

Either way, I am going to pull out my lower and stroke it fondly tonight, while saying "soon, my precious, soon!" :eek: :D

I'll be posting some pics of the completed kit as soon as I get it... now I just have to find a detent pin tool and I will be a happy camper!
