Loose Rib

I have a Ithaca 37 with a raised rib and everytime I shoot it the rib slides forward a 1/2 inch. How can I tighten the rib up 'properly'? I don't want to solder it because I have no intention to reblue it.

If it is raised many were fixed by installing a recessed screw over one of the posts with loctite on the thread. I have a few win super x-1 barrels that have been repaired like that. Ithaca is probally the same set up
