Loose screws

My Rossi 92 clone's butt pad's top screw is loose, I cannot tighten it, i guess the gun was stored in humid conditions when i bhought it so now that screw hole (might as well check other screws) is loose.

What should I use to fill the hole? carpenter glue? wood paste perhaps

Broken off tooth picks. Take a couple and break them of flush with the stock, put the recoil pad back the a screw away

try a wooden match stuffed in the hole with a lil wood glue

i did that trick, works awesome, i picked my tooth first then used the fresh part

now how long will it last?

The screws will work loose again unless you use some wood glue on the tooth picks as you stick them in the hole
