Ok so here is a question, I have the Fab Defense stock, the factory folder, the factory beaver barf, and a skeleton stock (in the mail). Which do you guys thing would be best for shooting with a scope (2-6x24 posp) and why? Thanks

My 2 bit's;

Personaly like the either the real wood or FAB set-up.

Any folder and most telescopic stocks have "play".
One would assume that a fixed stock with no play would be the best match for a scoped rifle where accuracy/marksmanship was top priority.

I like the factory folder :)

I use the actual FAB folder stock. It's pretty good. Unfortunately, there is enough play between the tube and the sliding stock that ot wobbles a bit. The hinge also has play (loose machining tolerances?) but I just keep it un-folded and shimmed it with paper towel to eliminate that. The nice thing about the folder is you don't get the angle of force change like the pics above, which I believe improves accuracy a bit at least on follow up shots.

That all said next cz I'll be using a Rauch or NEA adapter.

I vote for beaver barf! Actually, I did shoot my (painted) beaver barf iron sighter side by side with a telescoping/recoil reducer fitted with a holo sight. The holo sight was king, of course, but I liked mine better for felt recoil and balance/face position etc.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX!
Although...
The FAB & Dlask one's work great for use of the iron's and holo sight aquasition. The FAB unit shouldn't have any rattle and there is always play on the AR buffer tube system due to the design. This is why Magpul uses a pin on there end plate sling mount to stop the wiggle. Now this is not to say that Rauch Tactical & NEA don't have some great set-up points but the fact that the stock comes straight back has it's benifit's and draw back's. Hence why NEA has a o moa rail on it's rear stock adaptor. Also Rauch Tactical uses different level adjustments to form different fit's for different users.
As for the bottom pic it was a TANK! Infratek aluminum rail system with the big RPK drum and a home made scope mount system. But now the latest version is so feather wieght I am glad for the recoil reducing butt stock. As for the Drum well lets just say its $500 for a 3 round mag is way to much money but still, it will never go up for sale, as it looks to sick with the rig!

haha this is is how big of a noob I am, my gun came with the fab defense stock already on it, im trying to take it off to put on the skeleton one but i have no idea how to do it! How does thing thing come off???
