I'd say try calling the service department for Savage, they make all their rimfire rifles here in Canada, just outside of peterborough. They should be able to hook you up with a replacement. Failing that, try your gunsmith, should be able to source you one.

If you can get in contact with them, the plant in lakefield (same plant as the peterbourough one, just more specific on the location) should be able to help you out.

I have never been in there, (don't know if it is private or not) but it is right up beside the IGA where I get all my groceries for the cottage. Try calling them.

Western Gun Parts may have what you are looking for, but some fitting may be required to get correct headspace.

I was pleasantly surprised to have a butt cover (that was quickly replaced under warranty) sent out via a CP Express Post envelope. Savage is my number one pick from here on out!
