So Friday sept 30th I was driving north up to Gorrie from Hwy 86 and about half way there I drive by a bush and look out into a field and see some sort of wildlife, and say to myself "what the ####" out in the field grazing is a young bull moose? I call some friends in town there and say hey why am I looking at a moose? for some reason they did not believe me, had a little chat with three different people there on the phone and finally they loaded up into a van and came down to see what the hell I was on about. By then the moose had left, but I had found it's tracks in the field and showed them and they said yep them are moose tracks. so we go back to their place and one of them phone the local CO to tell him about it and he gets the CO's wife on the phone and she says that he is out looking for moose tracks, that someone else had called in a moose sighting earlier in the day.
the last couple of weeks heard rumor that it also sited around the Brussels area and Mitchell, Bornholm
and on Oct 13th I heard on the radio that it has been sited somewhere between Bayfield and Goderich
I've been waiting for it to make the news before I posted this so no more people think I'm on something lol

Wandering Moose Spotted Again In Huron County
Ministry of Natural Resources officials are trying to track a moose that's been seen in Perth and Huron Counties. Biologist Christa Casselman says the young bull was first spotted in the Mitchell area at the beginning of the month, and then near Brussels a few days later. Earlier this week, it was seen trying to cross highway 21 between Bayfield and Goderich. Casselman says moose don't usually travel this far south, but it shouldn't have any trouble adjusting to a Huron-Perth diet. Casselman says the greatest danger is to motorists that might hit the moose. Anyone who sees the moose is asked to call the Ministry of Natural Resources Clinton office at 482-3899.
