I've just moved and lost/misplaced my Lyman manual, 49th edition. I need to load a pile of 40 S&W. There is a receipe for 180 grain jacketed bullets (I'm using Frontier) for Clays powder. The starting load is 3.2 or 3.3 grains I believe, but can't remember the max recommendation. If I recall correctly Lyman lists FMJ bullets, but I was told by the vendor it was fine to use Frontier projectiles to FMJ load data as the copper jacket is plenty thick.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
