Lost the neck?PIC added!!

I don't think you'll get the bolt to close on that case anyway.

I was going to say the same thing.
I doubt like hell you'd ever chamber a round like that. I've seen 300 Win Mag rounds that had far less damage to the shoulder and locked a M-70 up tight trying to chamber a round.

Why risk a potential dangerous situation? Chuck the ammo and reload some proper ones that won't blow your gun/hand off.

+1

Should the OP decide to try and shoot the gun with that cartridge in the chamber, I see three possible outcomes:
1- The case chambers and fails, and the gun is damaged and/or the shooter is injured.
2- The case does not chamber, and it may potentially remain stuck in the chamber. Whether the gun will be damaged in extracting the stuck case is a matter for debate.
3. The case chambers and does not fail. The bullet makes a hole in the paper, albeit not in the intended location. The valuable case (about $2 replacement value) is recovered.

The OP's best case scenario results in a $2 saving. The worst case scenario could result in valuable property damage, injury or death.

If this was a lottery, you would not be able to give away the tickets.

But hey; it is your gun and your life!
