Guys - gearing up for DUck season, and realized I can't find my two-shot plug for my Maxus ANYWHERE. Must have fallen out of my case at some point.

Anyone know of a Canadian source? I'd get one from Brownells, but shipping will kill me. I know I can use a pencil/thin dowel, but that's just LAME. :)

Cabelas sells plastic plugs that you cut to size for your gun. Personally, I see no reason not to install the plug in the gun, and leave it there, so it won't get lost.

Thanks guys... the Maxus one is a 'turn lock' style that can be removed using a slot screwdriver or key. I know a small dowel down the pipe (the hole at the end of the maxus is more like a slot) will work, but want the proper plug. Standard tube plug won't work on this gun.

There are like seventy plus Browning dealers in Alberta start calling around . you can find the list of dealers on the Browning site .

Canuklehead - I am going to probably be rocking a wood dowel because the Sx3 I just picked up not appear to have a plug. Don't be embarrassed, I won't be able to tell if you have a real Maxus plug in your gun or not.
