Lothar Walther CZ457 barrel and factory 10rd mag feeding problem.

So, I recently bought a 20-inch Lothar Walther barrel for my CZ457, chambered in .22LR. I have two brand new factory 10-round plastic magazines, both loaded with CCI Standard Velocity. Here's the problem.
When fully loaded, the first five bullet tips were always sheared off a bit by the sharp edge of the chamber. And about one-third of the rounds get stuck on the lower edge of the chamber, causing feeding failures. Rounds six through nine generally feed without issues, but the last round always gets stuck on the upper edge of the chamber. This makes the barrel nearly unusable. I tried different force and speed when pushing the bolt, doesn't change a thing. I also tried re-mounting the magazine spring but the spring direction is correct. I tried bending the little metal chip in the mag to keep the bullet head up, just couldn't fix the problem.
So I changed back to the factory pencil barrel, feeding problem was gone in a second. The major difference is a slight chamfer at the edge of the chamber on the pencil barrel.
So today I got an NDr 15rd mag, and give it a shot, all 15rd feed flawlessly to the lothar walther chamber. I'm pretty sure bad feeding is the magazine's problem.
Local rimfire experts told me to break in the mag and make it smooth, the problem should be gone. And I'm trying to to that every day.
Does anyone have any other ideas how to fix the factory magazine?

The problem you're experiencing with the new Lothar Walther barrel and feeding ammo may be ammo related rather than magazine related. Try entry level match ammo such as SK and see if the problem still occurs.

I'm so unluck... actually, sk long range match, eley match, eley tenex and eley pistol plus all have similar problem.

Lothar barrels are known to be decent. As such, I would suggest you to find a local gunsmith and get them to look into your issue. You can also start by reaching out directly to the barrel manufacturer and show them what you get and get their advise. even if you are not the original owner of the barrel, they may help you

Thank you so much. I will contact the dealer and manufacturer about this. I'm using a NDr magazine on it. If the problem continues, I will definitely get a gunsmith for help.
