Lots of handguns for sale?

Is it just me, or does it seem that there is a lot of handguns popping up for sale now? If the Lieberals get re-elected, how long do you think it would take for the dirtbags to enact the ban?
 
One gun store here said that handgun sales have been on the rise is the last few weeks. Hardly any used ones getting traded in but lots of new ones going out the door.:cool:

Are people rushing to buy them so they can get 'grandfathered' or is it an in-your-face move directed at the LIEberal government?
 
I think alot of it is typical Christmas cash crunch but I do think alot of guys are buying new guns that they would not have otherwise. Just the same, it seems alot of guys are selling pistols and purchasing other guns with that money (for example, I am selling a few pistols to try to fund a PE-90). However, I think alot of guys are still keeping at least some of their pistols, even if they are worried.

If nothing else, Martin unified many gun owners when he said he was willing to STEAL their property. Let's see to it that his mistake bites him in the ass ;-)

I am keeping some pistols for both reasons. I doubt they will grandfather but if they do, I don't want to miss that boat. Also, I want to own some guns and have the pleasure of stirring up as much #### as possible IF the Lieberals commie-russia plan of stealing property is actually realized.
 
I don't know, I think there is a definite INCREASE on the EE... I surf regularly.

I posted mine in a knee jerk reaction to the Ban - I have since changed my mind I am going to KEEP it. Oddly enough I have also been researching getting another (a 22 plinker).

strange how the mind works. I still think the whole BAN is Electioneering, the liberals left themselves a huge back door for the policy implementation when it fails.

AND the liberals have effectively shifted the focus of their corruption elsewhere, simple fact is the discussions here, very little Gomerie is posted/mentioned.... Electioneering to kill time before votes are cast.

It just seemed to me that I saw a bunch of guys with very few posts suddenly put guns up for sale. Mind you, maybe they had been long time lurkers.
 
I have now bought four more since I heard Dickhead make his announcement. The "Christmas season cash free-flow attitude" helps. Wink.

I actually thought that I would have pick of the litter after that traitors idea .
But if there is more selection , I don't see it .
I was thinking of upgrading / changing a few of mine into others , but now , no way . I'm keeping all of them !
I'll get other as I can afford it .
 
I bought a norinco tokarev after getting a whiff of ban in november. Day after the PM spewed his poision, I made a deal for a revolver to keep it company. Both low$ but got to get in the fray & cover my bases. Hmm no bp yet, but I will keep my eye peeled for a screaming deal on a cap & ball, them maybe a flintlock just for fun. Bet the Lieberals weren't counting on that reaction.
 
The way I see it. If the ban takes place , and is Law, Good luck trying to get the guns from the honest shooter. I hope you don't chicken out and give in. Because If all of us And I mean all of us, stick together It will not work. My history teacher once said " A government that contols the people without the fear of uprise, is a dangerous government." My guns stay in the safe. Nice and away from criminal hands. Only I can access them. Thats the way I am going to keep it. Target shooting is not a crime.
