How bad does it bark vs. a 18.5 barrel?

No big difference between my Dark and my 20” SBL, vs other 45-70’s (looking at you old Henry with a brass but plate) it’s a dream to shoot with the built in jell pad.

If you put a muzzle brake on it, well everyone else suffers (loud af for those around you) but kicks like a kitten and no big noise diffrence to the shooter with good hearing pro. Would never shoot that with or without a bake without hearing pro even hunting I wear my big set.

Darks are now sold out in .45-70 but we still have a couple in 444 and there are a few of the 357's in the SS/LAM
