Thanks all I am kinda excited they enjoy it. I started reloading again to get them reduced loads, they aren’t big to handle recoil, so they can practice with their hunting rifles.

This set up was post haste and I will refine it but it gets it done and the girls enjoy shooting their own bullets. Win win.

This brings back memories of my son loading ammo. he wanted to shoot my handguns. i said ok, so long as he made the ammo.

he liked my SAA in 44mag, but was leery of the recoil (he was 6) so reduced the powder charge from what I had set on the thrower.

The gun still went bang (sort of) but went low, hit the railway tie backstop and bounced back, hitting him in the forehead. Big bruise and a little blood.

Mother was not amused.

Had to laugh at that because I loaded some light 38 wadcutters that were bouncing mousefarts... never took one in the forehead though.

And in the flavour of the thread: I don't have a dedicated loading room but have a respectable bench and adequate tools and components at it. Even if I had a 200sq/ft loading room and every tool and component available I'd still not be as rich as you guys with your (well behaved and reared) children in the most humble corner of the house.

Nice to involve them so young, I have a video of my 5 yr old grandson sizing 357 brass. He loves it. Teaches them safety , responsibility and respect for the rules early.
