I'm looking for a low mag scope to throw on my SR22. Anywhere from a 1-4 or similar. Id like it to be able to take a beating from a .223 later on with no issue.
I'm eyeing the bushnell 1-4 throw down
Vortex Crossfire II 1-4
Millett DMS either the 1-4 or 1-6
Leupold Mark AR MOD1 1.5-4

Any others I should look at?
My budget is 500$ including rings

I have the Leupold Mark Ar 1.5 -4 on my T97 and I find it a really nice scope. If your looking to put it on a 223 later it would be a good choice as it has the 55gr turret installed already.

I've got a Barska like this: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B001JJCHU2/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1.25-4 magnification and the glass is really good for a cheaper scope, plus the 30mm tube is kinda nice, but the eye relief is too short for a forward mounted (scout style) optic so I'm going to another brand. The rings that came with it are kinda cheap though.

Much cheaper then your price range, if your interested in having a look or purchasing it send me a PM and have a look when your in calgary for the gun show etc.

I considered most of the ones you mentioned but wanted a 30mm tube amd 1-4 magnification.

MadMarty the Calgary gun show is. The 18-19 Apr. Day one 0930-1700, day two 0930-1600.

I believe the timings are correct but that's the days for sure.

FYI: The Calgary gun show is always on Easter fri weekend.

The Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x24mm ($199) and 1-4x24mm PCL Thrown-Down illuminated ($299) have gone over well, and have been flying out the door (out of stock on the PCL atm).

You can add a set of Millet 30mm rings for $42.99, with or without the tactical accessory rail.

Impressive value for money on the scope and rings.
