I got a new .22 a while back and was thinking it would be perfect to have something in the 1-4x range, but with a small bell on the front end.
I have an older 1-4x28 bushnell my dad had on a 30-30, and it would like to get something similar for this .22, but it seems that anything I can find now in a lower power, small front end adjustable scope is a "super tactical AR specific sniper scope" and they all cost $400+.
It's a little pricey for my plinking/carry about .22, do they just not make anything like this any more? I was hoping to find something in the bushnell/redfield quality range, no NCSTAR stuff, but even in the NCSTAR stuff it's almost non existent.
