Hi all, I tried to search this, but can't see a thread it has been addressed in. I have a Tapco stock for my SKS. It is the one with the bayonet slit in the bottom. I would like to add a grip. Is there a way to add a rail over the slit?
Thanks to all that reply.

I think you could buy any rail, drill some hole, and install to your liking. I have a crapco for my SKS, the bottom rail that comes with is cheapo plastic. I'd suggest a metal one with some big washers on the inside for a little extra support.

I did this to my to ATI folder, bought a cheapo alum rail, drilled a few holes and mounted it with washers...works like a charm.

I bought the Tapco with rail and took it off because I won't use it and the edges are quite sharp. The mounting screws are pretty small, so X2 on the suggestion to use a metal rail and large washers.
