lower with flared magwell?

Cadex (Canadian made) and Noveske are the two that have large flared magwells.

I think there are a couple others, however some claim to have them, but don't have much flare at all.

Here is the Cadex one.

Is the Cadex lower comparable to the Noveske with regard to the flare and the magwell?

I ask this because the Noveske is not compatible with the new Surefire 60/100 mags.

I haven't tried the Surefire mags in mine yet. Still waiting on some.

I think the Cadex and Noveske are pretty similar in the magwell area though.

Thanks, let us know the outcome. Not that I intend to buy a 5 round boat anchor, but it will be interesting to see if it works in the Cadex lowers.

If I am not mistaken, Cadex lowers are machined from billet and not forged, so it should be easier to make a few changes to the machining process to accommodate the mags.

Noveske acknowledge that they will not fit due to a rib on the mags, but have no current plans to change the forgings to work with them, or even if they are able to make the necessary changes.

I can vouch for that seen these last week when was down in Calgary, thanks for taking time out of your day for showing me all the goodies, your machining thus far looks excellent and the lower flare looks and functions nicely. :)
