LPA sight too small for Crosman steel breech dovetail

I got a nice surprise this evening when I opened the pkg with the LPA rear sight for a 2240 build and they were too small for the dovetail.Crosman long steel breech bottom of dovetail .460" top .422" LPA sight bottom 454" and top .410" supposed to be a factory custom part that actually fits.anybody else have this happen? Now it may need to be shimmed.Not impressed.............Harold

Found out a few years back Crosman had a bunch of out of spec breeches shipped,likely old worn tooling and lucky me I have one so it will need shimmed to stay put. Harold
