Lpc questions

I asembled an lpc last week and have some questions.

My bolt cleanly drops out on an empty chamber with barrel pointed up just wirh gravity. It does hold up with a dummy round in. The bolt face is turning when going in. But just unturns and falls back down.

I also have a lot of side to side play in the bolt. Because I only have the 1 charging handle keyway. Which allows the bolt face to not always line up when I pull it out. it rotates too far right past the opening and it ends up catching

In this video he has a small key on the other side of the bolt which mine did not come with. . And his bolt stays closed.

Did others get the 2nd smaller bolt key way? Are other bolts staying in?

it is a cheap bolt from a radical BCG that I had spare of. not sure if that's my issue.

I had the same issue with one of my LPC’s. My bolt wouldn’t stay put as it did in Adrial’s video. I narrowed the issue down to the carrier itself and not my bolt as I have two lpc’s and if i swapped bolts between the carriers the bolt would drop free with just the one carrier in either of my lpc’s.

I never found a fix for it. With that carrier I find that I have to hold the charging handle forward while firing to consistently get a primer strike.

Did you ever try to contact sbi?

I’m worried about trying to fire this.

I think the carrier was oversized at the part where the bolt fits in. I emailed sbi in October last year asking if i could purchase a new carrier but never heard back.

What’s your concern with firing yours? If the lock lugs aren’t fully engaged you won’t get a primer hit or an out of battery detonation.

Worried about the bolt blowing back and blowing up in my face.

My bolt will not stay closed on an empty chamber and there is a bit of play in the bolt. The bolt stays closed with no issues when I chamber a round. My LPC is chambered in 300 Blackout and I've fired a couple hundred rounds without any issues (sub and supersonic).
