LPVO 1-6 POI shift from 1 to 6 power

No, he's talking POI shift. Group size is not dependent on mag power if you can see the object. Center is center.

I tested this myself on my Tikka last month, as for the last 2 years I thought mag power was the most important thing to have, running 4-12 while hunting 200y and shooting targets at 24x

Reliably picking a point of aim at 100m at 1 power can be challenging tho.

Yep, I like it when I can see my target bigger and then the holes. It's fun when shooting at 100 yards and you can see exactly where you are hitting. You can also determine very fast what specific ammo your rifle likes, saves a lot of time and money.

I have seen this happen. But it was fixed by tightening the mounting system.

As the throw lever was spun the scope was moving in relation to the bore laterally.

Geologist, I like that example/diagram. Many I've read here and elsewhere don't get it.
And taking a 'non-specific thread bitc* " from another forum - who knows what sort of judgment is being applied. I'd vote for 1) parallax and 2) magnification, especially if these are SFP scopes being discussed.

I’ve not had this issue. Sample size of two 1-6 LPVOs and three 1-4 LPVOs. 2 FFP the 3 SFP. I would chalk that up to what others are stating as Mount issues or Defective Optic.

Like BUM says, Hearsay. Just a rumour from 'Optic-snobs' . There's good info on that forum, but Not Always.

Multiple Leupold scopes here in 1.5-5 & 2-7 never had any of these so called issues with any of them for years now. Never know what you will read online Lols.
