LRA bipods

Received my bipod and have taken it out twice so far and all I can say is if you are thinking about the LRA light tactical DO IT you will not regret great bipod. Once again the service from PGW was great.

Got mine on last night.

Just wanted to extend my thanks again to Ross. I'd also like to say thanks to Tomochan for his write up on the LRA bipod which was the final bit of convincing me to go with one.

So far, I have had good success in FTR matches using the LRA bipod.

Thanks for the nice words - pleased there is at least one person reading what I write :)

Is this bipod worth the extra money say over a atlas bipod , I'm looking for one , I think if a person shoots enough and has a rifle that is a tack driver then a good bipod is a must

I seen lots of great write ups about them atlas bipod a, had one in my hands last week in Saskatoon , I like them and they also give you the choice for rail or mount on your sling swivel

If your rifle is on the bigger side or has a larger recoil, I wouldn't recommend the swivel mount. I think that's why I had such issues with a Harris on my Coyote. A rail mount, if you can, should be your choice. Btw, Atlas makes a good pod too (although I've never tried one).

I have an Atlas bipod and find it is quite well made an works great. As said above, get the QD rail mount version.

I would like to eventually get an LRA to go with my atlas, but I couldn't justify the extra money for the LRA at the time (extra $150 over the Atlas.....).

Ross does have great price on the LRA for us Canadians though......... ;)

I have Atlas and a LRA. Atlas is very good but the LRA is superior by far. The LRA is to tactical bipods what the Remple is to F-Class ones. Read this is you care to:
