Does anybody have any info on LRA bipods? I am pondering the idea of getting one to put on my new Serbu, as the factory bipod sucks.

Ever had any experience with them?

Are they even in buisness still?

I was originally thinking of putting an ATLAS on my gun, but have heard from multiple parties that they may not be strong enough for the weight and recoil of the firearm.

Here is what they look like, they are big bipods, but the size is needed for a .50 for stability.

The small one is an OEM AI bipod for scale comparison.

Looks like great stuff...we are considering them for the 50's currently. The Atlas is not suitable for the 50 despite what they may say.

I have one, they are excellent bipods... I have been shooting it the last 2 season. Features l like

Wide foot print allows for more stable shooting platform.
the horse shoe attachment lowers the center of gravity and reduces the amount of torque the rifle generates. This is a big plus for large caliber rifles. and the rifle does not sit on top of the bipod like the atlas or harris
The bipod is angle adjustable with different degrees of cant from vertical to almost horizontal. this is good for uneven ground or shooting positions.
there is not springyness like the harris and when you load up this bipod it is rock solid. (i have modified a couple of phoenix tactical feet and it really locks up. The rubber one supplied are larger then the harris or atlas and provide more friction depending on the surface

Email Dave at LRAccuracy and tell him what you want..He is busy

Hey rsp1761... if you go to LRAccuracy's face book page you can already see one of your rifles wearing the bipod. I took photos of DG photographers rifle with my bipod.

here is the version i have he makes a couple different versions

sorry i don't know how to resize the photo.

Weird, trying to contact the guys, but very little in the way of a response so far.

Trevor, is that the F-class or the light tactical model?

Where did you source yours from?

Just found this model, it seems perfect for my application.

It is listed as a Heavy F-Class bipod with ski feet. This has me a bit confused, since there is no mention of a Heavy F-Class anywhere but on that photo.

I've sent an email to the mfgr asking for advice on it.

my bipod is not pictured. it is a internet pic however the pictured one is an eariler version, tac model. The F class version does not have as deep of a horse shoe and has more graduations. the one i posted and my bipod only have 4 height adjustment minus the canting the F class has 6-8 (memory is foggy). here is a video
