Yep the main difference are the chromeline barrel. We just received some LRB M25 NM and LRB M14SA Tanker but they are all sold out, we are pending for another shipment and they will be in around 3 months.

I'm just looking for whatever is closest to the standard USGI M14 rifle. (or maybe you would just recommend the CLASSIC because of the chrome-lined barrel)
You can contact us by email to see if we can put ur order in with the order they are making for us. ETA will be at least 3 months for the M14SA receiver type rifle.
I'm over the Socom 16 and am looking into the LRB M25 Tanker. It would need the Springfield Armory Scout scope mount for sure. I hate scopes mounted over the action on M14 rifles.
Being cheeky, I ordered one of Armtac's stripped M25s and built my own. Total cost with a Krieger heavy barrel was $2100, utilising some minor parts I had on hand and just deal shopping for the mostpart. If you've read me posting a different figure, the build keeps evolving naturally, it's shooting and ringing 500 yard gongs now though. Would definitely recommend buying and sitting on an LRB bare receiver as a good option if not ready to take the whole plunge.
