So maybe this didnt require a new thread but I have scoured the site and couldnt find this answer. I purchased a Ruger SR40 from a buddy of mine and was wondering how to legally get it home. I own a restricted PAL and have applied for my LTATT. Once I get my LTATT is that all I need to bring the firearm home or would my friend have to bring it to my house? I guess what I am getting at is, do I need a STATT? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You need to get a STATT to get it home. After that the LTATT gets you from home to an approved range.
your friend have a LTATT?
if he does he can stop by your place on the way to the range
