Hey folks- Just thought I'd share a pic of a EE stick that I've added to a bit.

I picked up a bone stock LTR in .223 from cccan a year and a half ago. I shot it for a summer as I got it, and then started in changing. SO far I've managed to get 75 gr. Bergers to make a respectable showing out to 700m. It doesn't do anything amazing at 100- .75 moa on a good day- but it does seem to hold that standard as the range increases. The other nice thing is the throat is short enough to seet the bergers out to the lands and still mag feed.:)

Rem 700 LTR .223
Macmillan M40A1
Williams bottom metal w/ combat latch
AI base
Leupy QWR low rings
Leupy 4.5-14x- 40mm LR w/ M1's and Gen II miot from Premier
Eagle stock pack

I'd really like to rebarrel and have the action trued up. Would also like to add a palm swell to the stock.

I like the overall package- good balance and weight. The scope is nice and low too. My big gripe is the grip on the stock. No palm swell makes trigger control a challenge. I'd really like a light fill A3 or 5....

Is that stock painted gold...please tell me thats an optical illusion and its really sand
:runaway:
Man I had a mouthful of coffee when I saw that question. What a mess!

It's actually painted OD. I bought the stock used, and there are a couple of chips in the paint showing a forest green underneath. I'm curious to see what the pattern is...
